Two thousand years ago emperor Trajan discovered in the heart of Sardinia the beneficial effects of the thermal springs of Fordongianus. Today we revive the ancient custom at the Sardegna Grand Hotel Terme and the modern thermal centre and SPA. Here nature is combined with modern technology and ancient thermal tradition. The water springs, after a deep geothermal process through a Palaeolithic fault, rich in mineral salt and heated. We collect it and use it in the most innovative application methods in order to propose exclusive treatments, both therapeutic and aesthetic, for all individual health and psycho-physical wellness requirements.

By collecting and storing the natural spring-water exclusively for the spa, using the latest techniques, we can offer customized health and beauty treatments, promoting the physical health and the well-being of our clients through our lavish range of therapies.

When our guests want to take a break between treatments, they can enjoy a relaxing light lunch. Dress code is informal so that it is possible to return to the spa treatments as soon as desired.

Our evening dinner menu uses the best produce and genuine flavours of Sardinia. The recipes have been reinterpreted for lightness without the loss of traditional flavours. Guests will also find customized dishes for specific diets, and a rich choice of salads, vegetables and fruit.

The  Sardegna Grand Hotel Terme was planned as a wellness centre from its inception; it is built with warm and soft the native stone — the pink trachyte of Fordongianus — together with the strong steel beams that make out a building of character and innate power.

The 80 standard rooms and the 10 suites are all spacious, well lit, sound proofed and have ample balconies. Amenities include air-conditioning or heating, telephone, mini-bar, TV, hair dryer, and in-room safe.
